I'm a loser
The concert last night was fantastic! I was so excited to see my play her trombone. We got there early, picked out our seats and waited. About 15 minutes before the show started, I leaned down to get my camera and, with a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach, realized that I did not have it with me. Paul even walked back to the car, just to be sure. Nope. It was at home, all prepped and ready to go, on my couch. Luckily, a friend of mine took some photographs of Moira while she was playing. I'm so mad at myself for forgetting the damn camera!
Tonight, there is a Lip Syncing event for the Girl Scout Service Unit. It's going to be a lot of fun. My girls (lol- MY girls) will be doing New York, New York. I bought them top hats and they will be doing Rockette-like kicks at the end of the song as well as assorted dance moves. This is going to be a lot of fun and I will make SURE to bring my camera tonight!
Off to clean and complete other assorted household crap. CIAO!
Saturday Update
Yes, can you believe I am posting again? Will wonders never cease? Paul is working out in the addition and my awesome FIL is also out there. They are hanging green board in the new bathroom. YAY! I just want this addition to be finished already - OY! Paul's doing a great job. I am so proud of him for undertaking this HUGE project.
In other news, the girls haircuts turned out very nicely. Moira decided to let the hairdresser cut off about 5 inches of hair. Very brave of her. She's very cautious about receiving haircuts. I've been trying to get her to donate her hair to Locks of Love but she's not ready for that step, yet. No rush there. I know that one day, she's make that decision and I hope she does donate her hair. It's gorgeous. Olivia's hair is very fine, almost wispy. I had the hairdresser cut off a couple inches on her as well. Now, it sits right below her shoulders. Of course, she also looks adorable.
Our annual GS cookie sale has started and I want to thank everyone who ordered cookies. The cookies will be in around the end of February and I will let you know what your totals will be with USPS shipping.
Olivia's got, yes, another, birthday party to attend today. The birthday boy's name is Michael and he is just adorable. He has an 18 month old sister who is just precious. His parents look they they might be in their mid-twenties. So young. ::sigh::
I've seen people placing Technorati tags on their posts. So, I'm going to give it a shot. Have a great day!
